He was honored in the category of Best Classical Instrumental Solo for his recording of Henri Dutillex’s Violin Concerto “L’arbre des songes.” The piece was recorded with the Seattle Symphony under the direction of music director Ludovic Morlot.

The 2006 International Violin Competition of Indianapolis gold medalist can add it to a list of recent accomplishments—he was also named the inaugural recipient of the Warner Music Prize, an honor with a $100,000 cash award, in October 2015.
