Several years ago, the Potter Violin Company decided to introduce the next generation of instruments in the Mastertone® Legacy. The response from teachers about the Heinrich Lutiger has been overwhelming. Today, the German instruments crafted under the Heinrich Lutiger name have been recognized as one of the best German made instruments available in its price range.
Each instrument is painstakingly handcrafted, regraduated, hand varnished and set up to our specifications in our shop. The resulting robust sound has a core resonance that characteristically projects with clarity and focus. The hand applied spirit varnish accurately copies the look and feel created by the Old Italian Masters.
